Touch-Screen data acquisition system

The Touch-Screen data acquisition system is suitable for measuring 4 parameters with 16 bits resolution: cone tip resistance (qc), local friction/total resistance (fs), pore-water pressure (U) and inclination (I). Its robust design consists of an industrial computer and a Touch Screen. The whole unit has hardly any moving parts, ensuring reliable functioning even under the rough conditions it is exposed to in the field. On the system the user-friendly software package GOnsite! for data registration and storage in ASCII is installed.

Options:

- connection of a printer on location;
- installation of a GSM module for sending the CPT measuring data to the office by email;
- extension with additional parameters. 

GOLOG data acquisition system

Golog is a stand-alone data acquisition system for registering maximum four parameters with 16 bits resolution: cone tip resistance (qc), local friction (fs), inclination (I) and pore-water pressure (U). The system has a serial interface for communication with a PC/laptop (not included).

On the PC/laptop the user-friendly software package GOnsite! is installed for data registration and storage in ASCII. 

Test unit for data acqusition systems

The test unit is used to check the quality of the input signals of the data acquisition system. Calibration of the input signals is to be done in Heerenveen. As long as the input signals do not show any deviations the data acquisition system does not need to be calibrated.

When used in combination with a measuring cable, possible defects of the measuring cable can be detected (or ruled out) by performing a test procedure.
