The memocone is a standard electrical cone with memory and battery (digicone module). during CPT operations the measuring data are stored in the memory of the digicone module. When the test is completed and the cone retrieved to the surface, the stored data is read out by means of an optical read-out unit. A measuring cable is not necessary.

From the optical read-out unit the data are transmitted to the Golog data acquisition system and provided with additional information with respect to the test depth. On a laptop on which the GOnsite! software package is installed the data are combined and presented on screen. Through the lap the data can be printed (check plot) or relayed to the office by email for further processing, for instance with the special data processing software GO4!.

A battery charger is supplied for recharging maximum 2 battery modules at the same time.
